Resolution facilitation (RF) is a simple, informal process where a neutral facilitator helps individuals in a sports dispute talk productively, understand each other's interests, and explore solutions. It is a confidential process, the facilitator is impartial, and it is designed to help parties communicate better.

Each individual who will participate in the Resolution Facilitation process must complete the [Request Resolution Facilitation formonline.

Resolution Facilitation Request

The Ordinary Tribunal handles appeals related to decisions made under a sport organization’s internal appeal policies. It most often deals with issues such as team selection and athlete carding, but it can also address disputes about eligibilitydisciplinegovernance, and other matters.

Application for Conservatory Measures - Ordinary Tribunal

The Doping Tribunal handles matters arising under the Canadian Anti-Doping Program (CADP). This specialized division serves as the first instance for adjudicating doping violations asserted by Sport Integrity Canada (formerly the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport or CCES) against Canadian athletes or other individuals. It is also responsible for ruling on challenges to provisional suspensions imposed by Sport Integrity Canada. 

If you’ve received a Notice of Charge from Sport Integrity Canada wish to Request a hearing before the SDRCC Doping Tribunal, contact the SDRCC case managers to obtain to obtain the relevant forms and filing instructions.

The Safeguarding Tribunal handles reviews of decisions made under the Canadian Safe Sport Program (CSSP). In specific circumstances, it also hears appeals, challenges or reviews of decisions by sport organizations concerning findings of maltreatment under the Universal Code of Conduct to Address and Prevent Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS)

The Appeal Tribunal is exclusively responsible for hearing appeals of decisions rendered by the Doping Tribunal or the Safeguarding Tribunal. If you wish to appeal a Safeguarding or Doping-related decision before the SDRCC Appeal Tribunal, please contact our case managers to obtain the relevant forms and filing instructions.
