Dispute Prevention Resource Centre
In addition to the List of Legal Representatives found below, the SDRCC website now features its new Pro Bono Program.
"NEW" SDRCC Pro Bono Program
The SDRCC Pro Bono Program is intended to facilitate the access to free legal advice and services to unrepresented parties involved in disputes before the SDRCC. The volunteers on this list have come forward to the SDRCC to offer the following services at no cost:
- summary advice;
- representation at mediation or arbitration;
- procedural information; and
- form completion assistance.
To access the list of volunteers who have accepted to provide such services and to learn more on the terms and conditions of the Pro Bono Program, click here.
List of Legal Representatives
The List of Legal Representatives was created to provide members of the Canadian sport community with the names and contact information of legal advisors working in the field of sport law in Canada.
The legal advisors listed on this page have special expertise in amateur sport law in Canada, as you will see when you read their resume. They will be able to assist you if you have any questions regarding your rights and obligations as a member of the Canadian sport community.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The legal advisors listed below have no connection with the SDRCC. They are neither employees nor agents of the SDRCC.
- This list is intended for information purposes only. It is not exhaustive, and only bears the names and contact information of representatives who volunteered this information.
- Should you contact one or several of these experts, it will be up to you to come to an agreement with them on matters of remuneration or fees to be paid for their services or advice. They are professionals acting in their own name: SDRCC will not pay the legal fees that you may incur if you establish a solicitor-client relationship with one of these advisors.
- SDRCC will not be held liable for any action, error of omission, advice, counsel or service provided by any of the legal representatives listed on this page.
